Loews Royal Pacific Resort sits on the Universal Orlando walking side of CityWalk, with water taxis as well. Apple Scooter leaves a reserved mobility scooter, wheelchair, or stroller at the bell desk — not a Disney-style meet-and-greet. Named park access from Royal Pacific

From Royal Pacific the named links are the walk to Islands of Adventure and CityWalk (Universal Studios Florida is the next walk through CityWalk) and Universal water taxis. Volcano Bay and Epic Universe are not a short garden walk from this lobby — use Universal’s hotel transportation as Universal runs it that day, with your rental scooter, subject to each vehicle’s rules. You keep our scooter for hotels, CityWalk, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, and Volcano Bay, subject to each park’s mobility rules.

Why a scooter matters on this specific property

Royal Pacific’s lagoon paths, Wantilan area, and the walk to CityWalk are the reason deluxe Universal guests rent for the stay instead of at the gate. Ask bell services for Apple Scooter when you arrive. Charge in the room. Bring the charger for a Studios + Islands hop or an Epic Universe day.

Apple does not issue Universal’s Attraction Assistance Pass (AAP) or an IBCCES card. Universal Team Members handle queue accommodations. Guests who only need a mobility device generally use accessible queues without an IAC just to roll; Universal decides any extra pass after talking with the guest. We do not promise AAP.

How Apple delivers at this Universal hotel (bell desk)

Universal hotels on our booking form use Delivery to Universal Hotel (Leave at Bell Desk). We leave the charged scooter with bell services. You do not have to stand in the lobby to meet the driver the way Disney-owned resorts require. When you check in, ask the bell desk for the Apple Scooter delivery and confirm the charger and add-ons are with the unit.

On the last day, return the scooter, charger, and accessories to the same bell desk. Call at least 2 hours before scheduled pickup if you need a different time. If you check out early, still call us so pickup moves — missing a window can mean a $35 fee, same as our Disney policy on the FAQ. We do not stage units at Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, or Volcano Bay gates.

Battery, weather, and who to call

We send the scooter out charged. Plug it in every night, including the last night so it is ready for pickup. If it beeps or will not move: turn it off, unplug the charger from the tiller, set the right-rear lever to lock/drive (not neutral), then power on. If it still will not run, call (321) 726-6837. Light rain is generally safe; do not soak the scooter. Get under cover in a storm. If it gets wet, dry it and call us. Cancellation: more than 72 hours before delivery $14.95 per unit; 24–48 hours $50 per unit; day of delivery minimum 2-day rental charge. Full detail is on the FAQ.
