Art of Animation is the value resort of family suites (Cars, Finding Nemo, Lion King) plus Little Mermaid standard rooms. Little Mermaid in particular is a long walk from the Skyliner, Landscape of Flavors, and the buses. Named park access from Art of Animation

Like Pop Century next door, Art of Animation’s named premium link is the Disney Skyliner toward Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are typically bus. Our scooters are compatible with Skyliner and Disney buses.

Use one scooter for the Cars loop, the Skyliner station, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom. Park ECVs cannot leave the park you rented them in. Full write-up: Disney World scooter rental.

Why a scooter matters on this specific property

Family suites put more people in one room and more gear in the courtyard. A scooter for one adult plus a City Mini for a toddler is a common Art of Animation cart. The Finding Nemo and Lion King areas still have real courtyard mileage; Little Mermaid is the section guests mention most for distance to food and transportation. Charge in the suite. Bring the charger for a Skyliner double-park day.

How Apple delivers at this Disney resort (meet-and-greet)

Disney-owned resorts on our booking form use Delivery to Disney Hotel (Meet & Greet). You meet the Apple Scooter driver in person for delivery and again for pickup. We do not leave the unit at the bell stand at this resort. ScooterBug is Disney’s featured provider for that bell-stand style; Apple Scooter is not that exclusive vendor. We meet you so you see the scooter, get a walkthrough of the key, charger, and basket, and know who to call.

Drivers are allocated a 10-minute window at each resort. If your flight or traffic is late, call (321) 726-6837 before the window closes. Missing it may incur a $35 re-delivery or pickup fee, as listed on our FAQ. We do not drop equipment at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or water-park gates.

We confirm the charger and any add-ons. All of our rental scooters are compatible with Disney buses, boats, monorail, and Skyliner — still follow Cast Members when you load.
Charge overnight in your room, including the last night. On a long park day, bring the charger and add 30–45 minutes at a meal.
Meet us again on the last day with the scooter, charger, and accessories. Call at least 2 hours before scheduled pickup to change the time.

A rental day is a 24-hour period starting from delivery. Warehouse pickup is by appointment, 9am–3pm Monday–Saturday (closed Sunday) at 14990 SR 535 / Kissimmee Vineland Unit 138, Orlando.

Disney DAS (Disability Access Service) — Apple does not issue it

Guests often search DAS in the same sitting as a hotel scooter rental. They are different tools. Apple Scooter does not issue DAS, a Lightning Lane, or any Disney pass. Disability Access Service is Disney’s program for guests who cannot wait in a conventional attraction queue for an extended period because of a disability. Disney currently describes DAS around developmental disabilities such as autism or similar. Disney — not Apple, not the hotel, and not the scooter — decides eligibility. Register with Disney through Disney’s official process (Disney states live video chat; there is not an in-person DAS registration option at the parks). Start on Disney’s Disability Access Service page and use My Disney Experience as Disney instructs. We do not promise approval.

The scooter covers resort and park mileage. It does not shorten standby lines. Many guests rent a scooter and also apply to Disney for DAS — walking versus waiting. This is not medical advice.

Victory 10.2 already includes cup holder, USB, and tiller fan. This is a vacation rental, not a Medicare or HCPCS claim.

Battery, weather, and who to call

We send the scooter out charged. Plug it in every night, including the last night so it is ready for pickup. If it beeps or will not move: turn it off, unplug the charger from the tiller, set the right-rear lever to lock/drive (not neutral), then power on. If it still will not run, call (321) 726-6837. Light rain is generally safe; do not soak the scooter. Get under cover in a storm. If it gets wet, dry it and call us. Cancellation: more than 72 hours before delivery $14.95 per unit; 24–48 hours $50 per unit; day of delivery minimum 2-day rental charge. Full detail is on the FAQ.
