Port Orleans Riverside is a moderate resort with Alligator Bayou and Magnolia Terrace\/Mansion-style buildings spread along the Sassagoula. Named park access from Riverside<\/h2>\n

The named on-water link is the Sassagoula riverboat to Disney Springs<\/strong> and across to Port Orleans French Quarter. Theme parks \u2014 Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom \u2014 are typically Disney bus from Riverside. Water parks follow Disney\u2019s bus plan for this resort. Our scooters are compatible with Disney buses and boats.<\/p>\n

Why a scooter matters on this specific property<\/h2>\n

Riverside is one of the more spread-out moderates. Alligator Bayou rooms can be a long walk from the main building, Boatwright\u2019s, and the buses. Magnolia buildings are closer to the river and the French Quarter boat but still not a tower-and-elevator layout. A scooter is the difference between burning energy on the resort before rope drop versus rolling to the bus. Charge in the room. Bring the charger if you are doing Disney Springs in the evening after a park day.<\/p>\n

Meet-and-greet only at Riverside. Apple is not ScooterBug and does not leave this unit at the bell stand.<\/p>\n

How Apple delivers at this Disney resort (meet-and-greet)<\/h2>\n

Disney-owned resorts on our booking form use Delivery to Disney Hotel (Meet & Greet)<\/strong>. You meet the Apple Scooter driver in person for delivery and again for pickup. We do not leave the unit at the bell stand at this resort. ScooterBug is Disney\u2019s featured provider for that bell-stand style; Apple Scooter is not that exclusive vendor. We meet you so you see the scooter, get a walkthrough of the key, charger, and basket, and know who to call.<\/p>\n

Drivers are allocated a 10-minute window<\/strong> at each resort. If your flight or traffic is late, call (321) 726-6837<\/a> before the window closes. Missing it may incur a $35 re-delivery or pickup fee, as listed on our FAQ<\/a>. We do not drop equipment at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, or water-park gates.<\/p>\n

  3. We confirm the charger and any add-ons. All of our rental scooters are compatible with Disney buses, boats, monorail, and Skyliner \u2014 still follow Cast Members when you load.<\/li>\n
  4. Charge overnight in your room, including the last night. On a long park day, bring the charger and add 30\u201345 minutes at a meal.<\/li>\n
  5. Meet us again on the last day with the scooter, charger, and accessories. Call at least 2 hours before scheduled pickup to change the time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    A rental day is a 24-hour period starting from delivery. Warehouse pickup is by appointment, 9am\u20133pm Monday\u2013Saturday (closed Sunday) at 14990 SR 535 \/ Kissimmee Vineland Unit 138, Orlando.<\/p>\n

    Disney DAS (Disability Access Service) \u2014 Apple does not issue it<\/h2>\n

    Guests often search DAS in the same sitting as a hotel scooter rental. They are different tools. Apple Scooter does not issue DAS<\/strong>, a Lightning Lane, or any Disney pass. Disability Access Service is Disney\u2019s program for guests who cannot wait in a conventional attraction queue for an extended period because of a disability. Disney currently describes DAS around developmental disabilities such as autism or similar. Disney \u2014 not Apple, not the hotel, and not the scooter \u2014 decides eligibility. Register with Disney through Disney\u2019s official process (Disney states live video chat; there is not an in-person DAS registration option at the parks). Start on Disney\u2019s Disability Access Service page and use My Disney Experience as Disney instructs. We do not promise approval.<\/p>\n

    The scooter covers resort and park mileage. It does not shorten standby lines. Many guests rent a scooter and also apply to Disney for DAS \u2014 walking versus waiting. This is not medical advice.<\/p>\n
